Launched New Version of Site
Submitted on 2007-07-24 at 06:22:14
We just launched a newer, cleaner version of the web-visualization tool (aka the website). It is still being modified quite a bit, so please pardon the messes that crop up. Work is now beginning on filling the database with useful information so that the site isn't completely empty. Please be patient as this is a VERY long process. We will be completing a thorough documentation of the 2007 season in the next month, and will then move backward in time to fill in previous seasons.
Database Design Completed
Submitted on 2007-07-01 at 02:01:53
Design of the ChaseManager database system is now complete. With 49 tables, it will allow a user to track everything from a CF card serial number, to thier vehicle statistics, to storm events witnessed. The database is designed to be very extensible and will work for a virtually unlimited combination of chasers, vehicles, equipment, chase vacations, chase days, driving days, hotel stays, fuel stops, storm events, gps logs, ...well you get the point.
Now, work begins on overhauling the data visualization application (website).
